state land, and adjacent to two active hunting
clubs, the Cranberry Lake Club, and the Newton
Falls club.

For sledders,
We are 30 Minutes west of Tupper Lake on
corridor 8, 20 miles east of Star Lake, where
you will find golf, a hardware store, and a full
service IGA grocery, as well as the Cabin Fever
Gift Shop, The nice&easy (ATM), Twin Lakes
hotel, and Community Bank, NA and a hospital.
The hamlet of Wanakeena has a general store
that is worth the trip, as well as the Pinecone
Restaurant, and the Packbasket B&B.
